India's left arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav on Friday became the fastest Indian spinner to scalp 100 wickets in one-day Internationals. The front-line spinner achieved the feat during the 2nd one day international against Australia in Rajkot, which the hosts won by 36 runs. The ace spinner, who holds the Indian record for claiming two hat-tricks in international cricket, also became the third-fastest Indian bowler to take 100 ODI wickets. It is notable that Mohammad Shami holds the record for being the fastest Indian bowler to attain the 100-wicket milestone. The seamer took just 55 matches to achieve the landmark. Kuldeep claimed the feat when he dismissed Alex Carey for 18 in the 38th over of the second innings after Australia won the toss and put India to bat first on a sluggish Rajkot track. Overall, Afghanistan's ace leg spinner Rashid Khan is the fastest bowler ever to complete 100 ODI wickets, doing so in just 44 matches.
