Kohli's Message & Autograph On Prithvi Shaw's Bat Delight Netizens

Shaw played a scintillating knock against Punjab but his special bat with Virat Kohli's message attracted the viewers

Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw is back after serving a backdated suspension for failing a dope test and certainly hitting the right chords on the field. On Wednesday, Shaw played a scintillating knock against Punjab in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His 27-ball 53 handed a blistering start to Mumbai in a must-win match. Despite Shaw’s heroics, his special bat – that carried the autograph of Indian skipper Virat Kohli – caught everyone’s attention. Besides Shaw, Mumbai skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas also smashed fifties lower down the order as Mumbai posted a massive total of 243/3 in 20 overs, batting first. In reply, Punjab went off to a flying start as captain Shubman Gill scored a 38-ball 78 but his innings wasn’t enough to save the game. They lost the face-off by 22 runs. Prithvi had a terrific comeback as he scored three fifties in five innings. His scores in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy tournament have been 53 (27), 30 (17), 64 (39), 30 (19) and 63 (39). After making the headlines due to wrong reason, Shaw made a remarkable return and didn’t waste any time to showcase his talent. He would now be looking to continuing his fine form in the upcoming season of Ranji Trophy, starting from December 9.
